Sr. Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Executive – Purchase to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensure timely availability of materials at competitive prices. The role is critical in maintaining supply efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement process including RFQs, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials as per business requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams for demand planning.
• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery from vendors.
• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and MIS reports.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement/purchase (preferably in chemical or related industry).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
