The All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) is a leading industry body driving innovation, startups, robotics, AI, automation, and emerging technologies. AICRA organizes major national and international initiatives including Startup Mahakumbh, Startup Dangal, global conferences, expos, awards, and investor networking platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated Sponsorship Sales Manager to drive sponsorship revenue and strategic partnerships for Startup Mahakumbh and Startup Dangal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate sponsorship revenue for Startup Mahakumbh, Startup Dangal, and related startup ecosystem initiatives
- Identify and acquire sponsors, strategic partners, investors, brands, and corporate collaborators
- Build and manage relationships with CXOs, founders, marketing heads, agencies, and decision-makers
- Develop sponsorship sales plans and achieve assigned revenue targets
- Create sponsorship proposals, branding opportunities, pitch decks, and customized partnership packages
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and close sponsorship deals
- Coordinate with event, media, marketing, and operations teams for sponsor deliverables and execution
- Maintain sponsorship pipeline, sales reports, CRM data, and forecasting
- Explore strategic partnerships with startups, incubators, accelerators, VCs, and government innovation bodies
- Represent AICRA at startup events, networking forums, conferences, and business meetings
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Event Management, or related field
- 3–8 years of experience in sponsorship sales, event sales, B2B partnerships, or business development
- Proven experience in generating sponsorship revenue for conferences, expos, startup events, or large-scale initiatives
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent corporate networking and relationship-building ability
- Understanding of startup ecosystem, innovation sector, technology industry, and brand collaborations
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of handling high-value sponsorship accounts
- Existing corporate and agency network will be an added advantage
