Are you a strategic sales professional with a passion for technology and business growth? We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales, expand our client base, and strengthen our presence in the IT services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement end-to-end sales strategies for IT services to drive consistent revenue growth, achieve business objectives, and expand market presence.
  • New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads, nurture prospects, and maintain accurate opportunity tracking through CRM tools.
  • Client Engagement & Solution Selling: Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to understand client requirements and recommend tailored IT solutions, including custom software development, web development, mobile applications, cloud solutions, AI solutions, ERP/CRM systems, and enterprise software.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Proposal & Pitch Creation: Lead the development of compelling business proposals, commercial quotations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and visually engaging pitch decks aligned with client expectations and business goals.
  • Sales Negotiation & Deal Closure: Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation, pricing discussions, and successful deal closure.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and strategic partners to maximize customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to develop winning solutions and ensure seamless project handover after closure.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain CRM records, monitor sales KPIs, prepare revenue forecasts, and provide regular business development reports to management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in Business Development, IT Services Sales, Software Sales, or Technology Consulting.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development, web development, mobile app development, cloud solutions, AI, SaaS, ERP, and CRM solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-selling abilities.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, commercial documents.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively communicate business value to clients.
  • Strong client relationship management, account management, and business networking skills.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.


 Preferred Skills

  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, GoodFirms, or similar B2B business development platforms.
  • Experience selling custom software development, web applications, mobile applications, enterprise software, cloud solutions, AI solutions, or digital transformation services.
  • Strong proposal writing, presentation, and business communication skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise procurement processes and government tenders (GeM, RFPs, RFQs) is an added advantage.
