Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Saharanpur. The Sales Officer will manage and grow sales within the assigned territory, including building and maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers. Daily activities include identifying and pursuing new leads, executing channel sales strategies, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring timely order processing and collections. The role also involves providing product information, resolving customer queries, coordinating with internal teams for supply and marketing support, and conducting market visits to track competitor activity and consumer trends. The Sales Officer is expected to meet sales targets, support promotional campaigns, and represent JSW Paints in a professional, customer-focused manner.


Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to handle queries, provide product guidance, and ensure a positive buying experience.
  • Lead Generation and prospecting abilities to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, such as managing orders, tracking targets, reporting performance, and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Proven capability in Channel Sales, working with dealers, retail partners to drive volume and visibility.
  • Relevant experience in paints, building materials, similar industries would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Saharanpur, travel within the region, and manage field activities independently.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for reporting and communication; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or BE/B.TECH along with a results-oriented mindset and integrity in all dealings.
