Role Description The Regional Sales Manager – FMCG Personal Care is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ghaziabad, with some flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for driving regional sales growth for FMCG personal care products, managing distribution channels, and implementing effective sales strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring the regional sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners. The Regional Sales Manager will analyze market trends, track competitor activities, and collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to execute promotional activities and launch plans. The role also involves regular field visits, sales forecasting, reporting, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in regional sales management within FMCG, preferably in personal care or related consumer products.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, territory management, channel development, and key account management.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, prepare accurate forecasts, and use metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with distributors, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams, including coaching, performance management, and goal setting.
  • Knowledge of market dynamics in North India or similar regions, with familiarity in both traditional and modern trade channels.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and regular travel within the assigned region for field visits and market reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales management tools; ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
