Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Agency Manager based in Cuttack. The Sales Agency Manager will oversee agency sales operations, including recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring agency partners and advisors to achieve business targets. Responsibilities include setting sales goals, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing sales strategies that align with Care Insurance’s product portfolio and customer-centric approach. The role involves regular field visits, relationship management with agents and key local stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Sales Agency Manager will also coordinate with internal teams for training, marketing support, and claims or service-related escalations, while preparing periodic reports and forecasts for leadership.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in agency sales management or similar roles in insurance or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance management, with the ability to motivate and develop agency partners and advisors.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, territory management, and pipeline tracking, including basic use of CRM tools or sales reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with agents, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of health insurance or general insurance products and market dynamics; prior experience in the Cuttack or Odisha region is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site, conduct regular field activities, and adapt to fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are a plus.
  • High standards of integrity, customer-centric mindset, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical business practices.
