This role sits within Procman, an AI procurement platform operating under the Roboman group. Procman finds, verifies, and connects enterprise buyers with the right suppliers anywhere in the world — managing the entire order from request for quotation through delivery and payment. Live today with enterprise clients across India's Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors, Procman is expanding into the UK and EU, timed to the recently concluded UK–India and EU–India trade agreements.
Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for driving new business for Procman within Pharmaceutical, Hospital, and Healthcare accounts — owning the full sales cycle from lead generation through deal closure, while also serving as the primary point of contact for translating field insights into structured input for Procman's tech development team.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads within Pharmaceutical, Hospital, and Healthcare accounts
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end — outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closing
- Act as the primary point of contact for capturing field insights — buyer objections, workflow friction, and compliance/verification requirements specific to healthcare and pharma procurement
- Translate field learnings into structured, data-backed input for the tech development team
- Build and maintain pipeline dashboards and conversion reporting
- Map target customers' existing procurement workflows to identify Procman's clearest value
- Collaborate with engineering/product to ensure go-to-market learnings inform the AI matching engine and compliance features
Qualifications
- Proven track record in lead generation and closing sales — required, not optional
- Prior experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within healthcare, pharma, SaaS, or enterprise software
- Strong analytical skills — turning field conversations into structured insight
- Experience with go-to-market strategy, sales or marketing analytics, or product operations in a technology or SaaS environment
- CRM and pipeline management experience; comfort building reports/dashboards
- Understanding of healthcare/pharmaceutical procurement and compliance is a plus
- Excellent communication — comfortable both closing deals and writing technical insight reports for a non-sales audience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
