Role Description

As an Associate Lawyer, you will support ADR India & MyNeta in conducting detailed legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing expert advice on electoral, political, and governance laws. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting legislation, initiating and managing legal cases, and representing the organization's interests in diverse legal forums. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to public interest litigation. This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and interpretation of laws and regulations
  • Strong drafting and documentation skills, including the preparation of legal notices, petitions, and reports
  • Experience in court filing, case management, and representing cases in legal forums
  • Knowledge of topics such as electoral laws, governance policies, and public interest litigation
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in accessible language for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent qualification) and enrollment with a recognized Bar Council
  • Experience working with NGOs, advocacy groups, or in public interest law is an advantage
