Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Traffic Manager, located in Kolkata. The Traffic Manager will oversee and manage the efficient movement of goods, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring transport operations. The role involves supervising the team, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining timely delivery schedules, optimizing routes, and addressing operational challenges. The Traffic Manager will also liaise with clients and vendors, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in logistics, transport operations, and route optimization
• Proficiency in fleet management, scheduling, and team supervision
• Effective communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations
• Proficient in problem-solving and handling operational challenges under pressure
• Experience in heavy lift transportation and project logistics is a plus
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for logistics and transport management
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata
