Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Information Technology Manager, based in Canada. The Senior IT Manager will oversee the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable systems that support immigration consulting operations, client data management, and internal communication. Daily responsibilities include managing IT projects, supervising IT staff and vendors, monitoring network and system performance, and implementing cybersecurity measures. The role also involves evaluating and deploying new tools and software, maintaining data backup and recovery processes, and developing IT policies aligned with compliance and privacy requirements. The manager will collaborate closely with leadership and operational teams to align technology strategy with business goals and to support scalable growth for Canada immigration services.
Qualifications
- Strong background in IT infrastructure and operations management, including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in IT security and data protection practices, including access control, encryption, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Experience in IT project management, budgeting, and vendor management within a service-oriented or consulting environment.
- Ability to lead and mentor IT teams, drive process improvements, and manage cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM or case management systems, preferably in professional services or immigration consulting contexts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, cloud certifications) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in a mid-sized organization with sensitive client data.
