Designation: Sales Specialist - Network Transformation ( networking and cybersecurity solutions sales)

Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai

Experience: 7+ Years

Qualification: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.


About the role: This role includes driving sales of networking and cybersecurity solutions by managing the end-to-end sales cycle, building customer relationships, collaborating with OEMs, distributors and internal teams and achieving revenue and gross profit targets across Enterprise, SMB, and Government customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide timely responses, proactive guidance, and strategic direction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Act as a liaison between OEMs, customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and effective opportunity management.
  • Manage price requests, opportunity registration/locking, and opportunity tracking in coordination with presales teams.
  • Work with presales for BOQ validation and techno-commercial value addition.
  • Take ownership of sales opportunities and work strategically to ensure successful closure.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales organisation to achieve portfolio-specific sales targets.
  • Manage and own sales across Corporate, Government, and Regional customer segments. (Joint ownership)
  • Support the sales team in both Hunting (new customer acquisition) and Farming (existing account growth).
  • Assist in acquiring new clients through multiple channels. (Joint ownership)
  • Present the Value Point corporate profile including solutions portfolio, effectively to customers.
  • Focus on achieving and exceeding periodic sales targets based on Gross Profit.
  • Maintain sales reports and performance metrics as required by management.
  • Ensure CRM tools are regularly updated with accurate opportunity and customer information.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagements.
  • Develop and maintain CXO-level relationships, including detailed account mapping (Joint ownership)


Requirements:


  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in selling Networking and Security solutions from OEMs such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, and similar vendors.
  • Proven experience in selling to SMB, Enterprise, and Government customers.
  • Strong understanding of Networking and Secure Networking technologies, including: Switching, Routing, Wireless (Wi-Fi), SD-WAN, Conferencing solutions, IoT, firewall or NDR or SASE or NAC etc. and Passive Networking infrastructure.
