Sales Manager — Social Gear (Delhi, India)
Location: Remote (Delhi/NCR Preferred)
Work Mode: Remote (Travel for client meetings as required)
Role Type: Individual Contributor — This is a hands-on selling role, not a team-management role
Experience: 3–8 years in advertising, media, or technology sales
Compensation: Competitive compensation based on the candidate’s experience, ability to understand and sell our products, industry network and relationships, business development capabilities, sales closure track record, and overall interview evaluation. What You Will Do
As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to acquire new advertisers, agencies, and enterprise clients while helping them leverage the Social Gear platform to achieve their marketing goals.
Your responsibilities include:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities with brands, advertisers, media agencies, and digital marketing agencies across India.
- Conduct virtual product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
- Meet clients in person whenever required to build relationships and close business opportunities.
- Understand customer business objectives and recommend suitable advertising solutions through Social Gear.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting, and strategic partnerships.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close deals.
- Build long-term relationships with advertisers and agencies to maximize customer retention and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with Product, Operations, Campaign Management, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support product improvements and business growth.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- 3–8 years of B2B sales experience in Advertising, Media, Digital Marketing, SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or Technology Sales.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising and how brands allocate marketing budgets.
- Experience selling advertising solutions, media services, SaaS products, or technology platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to confidently engage with senior decision-makers including Marketing Heads, Brand Managers, CMOs, Media Buyers, and Agency Owners.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Candidates based in Delhi/NCR are preferred, although applicants from anywhere in India may apply if they are willing to travel for client meetings whenever required.
Nice to Have
The following experience will be an added advantage:
- Existing relationships with advertisers, agencies, or enterprise marketing teams.
- Experience selling Influencer Marketing, Creator Economy, Digital Advertising, Programmatic Advertising, or Connected TV (CTV) solutions.
- Familiarity with advertising technologies such as Amazon DSP, DV360, The Trade Desk (TTD), Yahoo DSP, PubMatic, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with advertising agencies, publishers, or digital media companies.
- Knowledge of AdTech, MarTech, or SaaS business models.
