About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and result-oriented Network Expansion Manager to lead the expansion of our EV charging network across Mumbai and Delhi. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, along with proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within the EV, automobile, renewable energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.
The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, approach, and onboard strategic commercial properties—including hotels, resorts, restaurants, malls, hospitals, commercial complexes, educational institutions, corporate parks, fuel stations, and other high-footfall locations—for the installation of ChargeJet EV charging stations. The candidate will also be responsible for generating direct sales of EV charging stations whenever purchase inquiries are received. During the property onboarding process, the candidate will educate potential partners about ChargeJet's revenue-sharing model, where property owners receive a percentage of the monthly revenue generated through the charging station installed at their premises, creating a mutually beneficial long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities
● Identify, approach, and onboard commercial properties for EV charging station installations.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, resort management, restaurant chains, mall operators, hospital administrators, corporate offices, and commercial property owners.
● Present ChargeJet's EV charging solutions and explain the company's revenue-sharing business model to prospective partners.
● Conduct business meetings, presentations, negotiations, and site visits with prospective clients. ● Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field visits.
● Coordinate with the technical and operations teams for site feasibility assessments and project execution.
● Manage the complete onboarding process, including documentation, commercial negotiations, agreements, and follow-ups.
● Generate and convert sales opportunities for EV charging stations from direct purchase inquiries.
● Develop and execute strategic expansion plans to increase ChargeJet's charging network across assigned territories.
● Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly onboarding and sales targets.
● Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on business development activities, partnerships, and revenue generation.
● Represent ChargeJet Energy Pvt. Ltd. at exhibitions, industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
● Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and developments within the EV ecosystem. Required Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
● 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Network Expansion, or Strategic Partnerships, preferably in the EV, Automobile, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or Real Estate industry.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
● Proven experience in B2B sales and client acquisition.
● Ability to build long-term relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
● Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. ● Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, property visits, and business expansion activities.
● Valid driving license will be an added advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile
● Prior experience in EV charging infrastructure expansion or strategic business partnerships.
● Strong understanding of the EV ecosystem and charging infrastructure market.
● Existing network with hotels, resorts, restaurants, malls, hospitals, commercial property owners, facility management companies, or real estate developers will be an added advantage.
● Candidates with experience in infrastructure sales, channel partnerships, or commercial real estate business development will be preferred.
