About the Role


GREENS Expo & Summit is looking for proactive and result-oriented Sales Managers to support the growth of its exhibitions, summits and business platforms.


The role will involve generating new business, selling exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities, managing client relationships and identifying additional commercial opportunities across relevant industries and sectors.


The selected candidate will work closely with the sales, marketing, finance and event operations teams to ensure effective client acquisition, revenue generation and successful delivery of confirmed participation packages.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop potential leads for exhibition space sales, sponsorships, advertising opportunities, delegate participation, partnerships and other business verticals of the organisation.
  • Sell exhibition stalls, booths and open display areas to prospective exhibitors across relevant industries and sectors.
  • Meet prospective clients, understand their participation objectives and recommend suitable stall sizes, locations, sponsorship packages or customised business opportunities.
  • Prepare and share proposals, presentations, commercial offers, space options, sponsorship decks and other sales communications as required.
  • Follow up with prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, WhatsApp communication and in-person visits to drive conversions.
  • Negotiate commercials, payment terms, deliverables and participation structures in accordance with company policies and internal approvals.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets relating to revenue, exhibition space, sponsorships, delegate participation, partnerships and other business objectives allocated from time to time.
  • Maintain an active and updated sales pipeline, including lead status, follow-up dates, client requirements, proposal history, objections and expected closure timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for stall blocking, layout updates, invoicing, payment follow-ups, client documentation, branding deliverables, exhibitor manuals, badges and operational requirements.
  • Ensure timely collection of booking amounts, balance payments, GST details, purchase orders, work orders and other required documentation from clients.
  • Explore additional revenue opportunities such as sponsorships, branded zones, lounge partnerships, café partnerships, badge branding, delegate kits, digital promotions, speaking opportunities, sector partnerships, barter associations and other customised commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, government bodies, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, consultants and other ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify new industries, companies, industrial clusters, associations and sectors relevant to the organisation’s events and business platforms.
  • Support business development through networking meetings, industry visits, exhibitions, conferences, association meetings and client events.
  • Assist in developing sector-specific databases and categorised lead lists for targeted sales and marketing communication.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to provide client insights, sector inputs, lead-generation ideas and communication requirements for campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the event operations team to ensure that confirmed exhibitors and sponsors receive the committed deliverables according to the agreed scope.
  • Manage client expectations professionally and ensure clear communication before, during and after the event.
  • Support post-event follow-ups, feedback collection, renewal discussions and early-booking opportunities for future editions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, revenue reports, pipeline updates, client-status sheets and other management information reports as required.
  • Represent the organisation professionally in all client interactions and maintain the confidentiality of commercial, client and business-related information.


Candidate Requirements


  • Prior experience in exhibition sales, event sales, sponsorship sales, advertising sales, media sales, delegate sales or B2B business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and close business opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage a structured sales pipeline and work towards defined revenue targets.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients through calls, emails, WhatsApp, virtual meetings and in-person meetings.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry visits, exhibitions, conferences and networking activities.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with marketing, finance, design and event operations teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, spreadsheets, sales reports and lead-management processes will be preferred.
  • Existing relationships across industry associations, trade bodies, chambers of commerce or relevant business sectors will be an advantage.
