About the role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Specialist with 5–8 years of experience in retail operations and business development across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving retail growth, managing key retail partnerships, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring seamless execution across both offline and online retail channels.


Key responsibility

  • Develop and execute retail strategies to drive revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and key business partners.
  • Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand market presence.
  • Manage modern trade and general trade operations while ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product availability across retail channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure smooth execution.
  • Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market trends to improve business performance.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal activities.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and promotional agreements with retail partners.
  • Ensure timely replenishment and optimize stock movement to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Track KPIs such as sales growth, sell-through, inventory turnover, retailer productivity, and profitability.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategies to strengthen market positioning.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for management.


Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Retail Operations.
  • Hands-on experience in B2B, B2C, and D2C business models.
  • Experience in distributor and channel partner management.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning and demand forecasting.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Prefered Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Toys, Lifestyle, or Retail brands will be an added advantage.
