Quantity Surveyor- Highway Industry

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role in the highway industry, based in Kaithal. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting cost estimates, and managing budgets for highway and related infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include monitoring project costs, preparing interim and final payment certificates, and supporting tendering and contract administration activities. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track quantities, validate work done, and ensure accurate cost reporting. The Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to cost control strategies, identify cost variances, and support management in decision-making and project planning.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs for highway and related infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Cost Reporting, including preparation of cost statements, variance analyses, and financial summaries.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in highway or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
