Role Description The Project Estimator role at A3A Home Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Project Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, gathering quotations, analyzing pricing options, and developing comprehensive budgets and proposals. The role involves coordinating with project managers, designers, vendors, and clients to clarify requirements and adjust estimates as needed. The Project Estimator will also monitor cost performance, support value engineering, and maintain accurate records to improve estimating accuracy over time.
Qualifications
- Strong project estimation and construction estimating skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Cost management and budgeting skills, including tracking costs, preparing detailed BOQs, and aligning estimates with financial targets.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and presenting estimates clearly and confidently.
- Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools; strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Relevant experience in interior or construction projects, preferably in a similar estimator role.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local materials, labor rates, and construction practices; familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
