Company Description Appletree Building Maintenance Private Limited, incorporated in 2005 and based in Haryana, specializes in complete building maintenance solutions across India. The company provides facade access systems and professional cleaning services on a PAN India basis, with a strong focus on delivering value for money to customers. Appletree designs, manufactures, and supplies a wide range of suspended access equipment, including Building Maintenance Units (BMU), aerial work platforms, JIB and davit systems, and monorail systems. These solutions support façade cleaning, construction activities, ACP and glass replacement, and elevator installation and maintenance for diverse commercial and residential buildings.
Role Description The Operations and Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role oversees day-to-day operations related to building maintenance projects, ensuring timely execution, resource planning, safety compliance, and quality standards across multiple client sites. The position is responsible for driving sales of facade access equipment and maintenance services, including lead generation, client relationship management, proposal development, and contract negotiation. The manager coordinates with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance to align project delivery with customer expectations. Regular tasks include tracking performance metrics, preparing operational and sales reports, addressing customer queries and issues, and supporting strategic initiatives to grow business in existing and new markets.
Qualifications
  • Experience in operations management, project coordination, and service delivery within construction, building maintenance, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in sales activities, including lead generation, client engagement, presentation of solutions, and closing deals for B2B customers.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and teams simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of facade access systems, suspended access equipment, or building maintenance technologies, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, prepare reports, and use basic business software tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems).
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated focus on safety, compliance, and quality assurance in operational environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in PAN India operations or multi-location project supervision is preferred.
  • Capacity to work on-site at client locations as needed and adapt to a dynamic, field-oriented work environment.
