Interior Site Supervisor

Role Description The Interior Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at interior project sites. This role includes supervising site work, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring that fit-out activities adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The Interior Site Supervisor will monitor material delivery and usage, conduct regular site inspections, and report progress and issues to the project manager and design team. The role also involves resolving on-site challenges, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality control to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications

• Ability to supervise interior fit-out work, coordinate multiple trades, and manage daily site operations effectively.
• Experience interpreting architectural and interior drawings, technical specifications, and construction details.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation methods, with attention to quality and safety standards.
• Proficiency in basic project documentation, site reporting, and progress tracking.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical decisions under time and resource constraints.
• Relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction supervision; prior work on commercial or residential projects is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai, with flexibility to visit multiple project locations as required.
