Job Description – Deputy Manager –(IT & IoT)
Department: Sales
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales of IoT solutions by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, understanding customer requirements, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing existing customer accounts.
- Promote and sell IoT solutions to B2B customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain sales pipeline, CRM records, and periodic sales reports.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Travel as required for customer meetings and business development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related field).
- MBA in Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Experience in IoT, Telematics, Automation, Fleet Management, GPS Tracking, or Industrial Automation is preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of IoT solutions and solution-based selling.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
