Role Description The Sales Development Representative at Fieldy is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves proactively identifying and qualifying prospective customers, conducting outbound calls and emails, and nurturing leads through the sales pipeline. The Sales Development Representative will schedule product demos, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to support campaigns and follow up on inbound inquiries. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding customer needs, presenting Fieldy’s value proposition, and contributing to revenue growth through consistent lead generation activities. The role also requires regular reporting on key metrics and participation in team meetings to refine outreach strategies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation for B2B or SaaS products.
  • Strong Sales and Business Development capabilities, including pipeline management and opportunity qualification.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects clearly and professionally.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, sales engagement platforms, and basic productivity software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet targets consistently.
  • Strong analytical and listening skills to understand customer pain points and match them with product solutions.
  • Previous experience in technology or software sales is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
