The Head – Corporate Planning will be responsible for driving strategic planning, annual operating plans, business performance reviews, market intelligence, growth initiatives, and cross-functional business alignment. The role will work closely with leadership teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support sustainable growth and profitability.


Strategic Planning & Business Growth


  1. Lead the annual strategic planning and budgeting process across business verticals.
  2. Develop long-term business plans aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  3. Identify growth opportunities including new markets, product categories, channel expansion, and strategic partnerships.
  4. Support leadership in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or diversification opportunities.

Major Activities


Business Performance Management


  1. Monitor business performance through MIS, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  2. Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with leadership teams.
  3. Analyze revenue, profitability, market share, and operational performance trends.
  4. Recommend corrective actions and strategic interventions for business improvement.


Market & Competitive Intelligence


  1. Track consumer durable industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
  2. Conduct market analysis to identify risks and emerging opportunities.
  3. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.


Cross-Functional Coordination


  1. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and HR teams to ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
  2. Drive alignment between business plans and operational capabilities.
  3. Facilitate strategic projects and organization-wide transformation initiatives.


Financial & Operational Planning


  1. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning processes.
  2. Analyze business feasibility, investment proposals, and ROI for strategic projects.
  3. Ensure effective tracking of cost optimization and productivity initiatives.


Leadership & Governance


  1. Prepare presentations and strategic reports for the Board and senior leadership.
  2. Drive governance mechanisms for strategic projects and business initiatives.
  3. Build a high-performance planning and analytics team.
