Job Description
The Head – Corporate Planning will be responsible for driving strategic planning, annual operating plans, business performance reviews, market intelligence, growth initiatives, and cross-functional business alignment. The role will work closely with leadership teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support sustainable growth and profitability.
Strategic Planning & Business Growth
- Lead the annual strategic planning and budgeting process across business verticals.
- Develop long-term business plans aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities including new markets, product categories, channel expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Support leadership in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or diversification opportunities.

Major Activities
Business Performance Management
- Monitor business performance through MIS, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with leadership teams.
- Analyze revenue, profitability, market share, and operational performance trends.
- Recommend corrective actions and strategic interventions for business improvement.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Track consumer durable industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
- Conduct market analysis to identify risks and emerging opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and HR teams to ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
- Drive alignment between business plans and operational capabilities.
- Facilitate strategic projects and organization-wide transformation initiatives.
Financial & Operational Planning
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning processes.
- Analyze business feasibility, investment proposals, and ROI for strategic projects.
- Ensure effective tracking of cost optimization and productivity initiatives.
Leadership & Governance
- Prepare presentations and strategic reports for the Board and senior leadership.
- Drive governance mechanisms for strategic projects and business initiatives.
- Build a high-performance planning and analytics team.
