About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Chief Business Officer (CBO) to drive our next phase of growth. This is a leadership role for an experienced business executive who is passionate about building markets, developing high-performing teams, and scaling technology-driven businesses.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in enterprise sales, business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth. They should thrive in a fast-evolving AI and technology landscape and be capable of translating business opportunities into sustainable growth.

The CBO will work closely with the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors to define and execute the company's commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company's business growth and revenue strategy.
  • Lead enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development and sales team.
  • Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to align market needs with product strategy.
  • Establish strategic relationships with customers, partners, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Track business performance through KPIs and ensure achievement of revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, digital technologies, and sustainability to identify new growth opportunities.
Experience & Skills
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, enterprise sales, or commercial leadership.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience working in AI, software, SaaS, technology, or digital transformation businesses.
  • Agile learner with the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
  • Experience in the Sustainability, ESG, or ESG Compliance domain will be a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, or climate technologies is desirable.
Qualifications
  • MBA from a recognized university.
  • Additional certifications in Sales, Strategy, AI, or Sustainability are an advantage.
Reporting Structure
  • Matrix reporting across executive leadership functions.
  • Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Travel
  • Willingness to travel extensively based on business requirements.
