We are looking for a Backend Engineer responsible for building scalable backend services, developing the Tool Server, and implementing orchestration layers that integrate with external systems such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Build robust backend services using frameworks like FastAPI and Node.js.
• Design and develop service-oriented architectures and microservices-based systems.
• Integrate external services using REST APIs and secure authentication mechanisms like OAuth.
• Develop connectors and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Implement reliable backend workflows including logging, retries, error handling, and asynchronous processing.
• Deploy backend services on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar environments.
• Support orchestration layers connecting backend services with AI or automation workflows. Required Skills
• Strong experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Node.js, or .NET).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and implementing OAuth-based authentication.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented design.
• Experience building integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of logging frameworks, retries, error handling, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience deploying applications on Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of LLM-based service layers is a plus.

Skills

● Strong experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Node.js, or .NET)

● Experience integrating REST APIs and OAuth-based authentication

● Proficiency in building service-oriented backends and microservices

● Familiarity with constructing connectors for third‑party systems

● Experience with logging, retries, error handling, and async workflows

● Experience deploying on Azure or similar cloud platforms

● Understanding of interacting with LLM-based service layers is a plus
