Job Title: Junior Software Tester
Location: Bangalore (Onsite)
Experience: 1 year
Type: Full Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate willbe responsible for writing & executing test cases, reporting defects, and ensuring the qualityof our software products. Knowledge of automation testing is a plus.

Roles:

Perform manual testing to ensure software quality.
Identify and report defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Work with developers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases and testing processes.
Participate in the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain detailed test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
Execute manual tests, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Generate test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and results to the team and management.
Keep detailed records of test cases, testing processes, and findings.
Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Adapt and thrive in a dynamic startup environment, taking full ownership of assigned
responsibilities.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or similar for defecttracking.
Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is an added advantage. ( Not Mandatory)
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
