Role: Admissions Team Lead


We're looking for an experienced and driven Admissions Team Lead to lead a team of Admission Counsellors and drive student enrollment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, admissions expertise, and a proven ability to achieve conversion and revenue targets while delivering an exceptional experience for prospective students.


Key Responsibilities


Lead the Admissions Team

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Admission Counsellors to achieve enrollment targets.
  • Conduct performance reviews, team huddles, and coaching sessions while monitoring KPIs and productivity.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through continuous feedback and development.


Drive Student Admissions

  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Guide prospective students on programs, eligibility, scholarships, fees, and career opportunities.
  • Support the team in resolving complex student and parent queries and maximizing conversions.


Lead & CRM Management

  • Ensure effective lead allocation, timely follow-ups, and accurate CRM updates.
  • Optimize lead conversion across the admissions funnel.


Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor admissions performance, revenue, conversion rates, and counsellor productivity.
  • Prepare MIS reports and provide actionable management insights.


Training & Quality

  • Conduct product, counselling, and sales training.
  • Perform call audits and ensure compliance with admission policies and quality standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Academic teams to deliver a seamless admissions experience.
  • Share regular performance updates and recommendations with senior management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in Admissions, Student Recruitment, Education Counselling, or Inside Sales.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading an admissions or counselling team.
  • Proven track record of achieving admission and revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and CRM management skills.
