Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Zonal Sales Manager to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling various financial products, including Cash Credit limit (CC), Overdrafts limit (OD), and Term Loans limit. Additionally, the candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in effectively managing and leading a sales team of 20-25 people.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve zonal sales targets and objectives for CC, OD, and Term Loans.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of 20-25 sales professionals, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company's goals. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to help team members reach their individual targets.
  • Business Development: Identify potential business opportunities in the assigned zone and work towards expanding the market presence for financial products. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse sales data, key performance indicators, and market trends to make data driven decisions. Regularly monitor team performance and take corrective actions to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest financial products, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Ensure the team is well-informed and capable of presenting product features and benefits effectively to clients.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Mitigate potential risks and maintain a strong focus on compliance.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, zonal performance analyses, and forecasts for the Finance Department leadership—present findings and recommendations to the management team. Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in selling Cash Credit limit (CC), Overdrafts limit (OD), and Term Loans limit.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the finance sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading a team of 20-25 sales professionals.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for motivating and developing team members.
  • High level of integrity and adherence to compliance and ethical standards.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and own a 4-wheeler for daily commuting.
