Job Description
The Pre-employment Compliance Senior Associate is responsible for supporting employment eligibility verification, background check compliance, and drug screening processes for associates. This role ensures strict adherence to USCIS Form I-9 regulations, E-Verify requirements, and company background screening policies.
The specialist will conduct compliance audits, review Temporary Protected Status (TPS) documentation, ensure E-Verify compliance, resolve Level 2 background check alerts through individualized assessments, and communicate directly with associates to obtain documentation or clarification when required. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent documentation practices, and the ability to handle sensitive employment information with confidentiality and professionalism.

The specialist will conduct compliance audits, review Temporary Protected Status (TPS) documentation, ensure E-Verify compliance, resolve Level 2 background check alerts through individualized assessments, and communicate directly with associates to obtain documentation or clarification when required. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent documentation practices, and the ability to handle sensitive employment information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Principal Accountabilities:-
- Review and verify Form I-9 documentation in compliance with USCIS and Department of Homeland Security regulations.
- Conduct audits of I-9 forms to ensure proper completion, documentation retention, and regulatory compliance.
- Review and monitor Temporary Protected Status (TPS) employment authorization documentation, including tracking expiration dates and re-verification requirements.
- Ensure proper Section 3 reverification when employment authorization documents expire or change.
- Monitor and verify that all eligible employees are properly processed through E-Verify and escalate to field teams as necessary to ensure compliance
- Investigate and resolve E-Verify Tentative Non-Confirmations (TNCs) in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and correct I-9 errors or missing documentation through compliant remediation procedures
- Monitor background check results and identify Level 2 alerts or reportable findings.
- Contact associates directly to review background check results and gather additional information when necessary.
- Conduct individualized assessments and make employment decisions related to background check findings in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
- Document assessment outcomes and escalate cases requiring further review.
- Ensure compliance with a variety of client background screening and drug testing policies.
- Report daily to field team regarding associates with outstanding I-9 documentation required, TPS documentation and expiration tracking, E-Verify compliance records, background check records, and drug testing documentation.
- Identify discrepancies, compliance risks, and missing documentation and escalate to internal POC
- Support as needed for internal or external compliance reviews.
- Experience with USCIS Form I-9 verification, employment eligibility requirements, and E-Verify case management.
- Background in background screening and drug testing compliance, including reviewing reports and results.
- Ability to perform compliance or quality audits of HR documentation and maintain accurate case notes and audit records.
- Professional customer service skills, communicating sensitive personal information with employees, candidates, and internal teams while ensuring confidentiality
- Ability to conduct individualized assessments related to background findings and provide recommendations for employment
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and Outlook.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Any Graduate
- Experience with USCIS Form I-9 verification
- Background in background screening and drug testing compliance
- Work exp in US Market
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
