Job Title: Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Building Management Systems (BMS)

Location: Delhi / Gurgaon / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore

Experience: 4-7 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to support the design, engineering, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BMS/SCADA systems, communication protocols, and site commissioning activities, along with the ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing, and commissioning of Building Automation / BMS systems
• Engineering and programming of BMS, SCADA, PLC, and DDC systems
• Development of BMS/SCADA/HMI graphic screens
• Perform I/O loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
• Ensure proper integration using BACnet, Modbus, OPC protocols (IP, Ethernet, MS/TP)
• Execute site commissioning activities and resolve technical issues during startup
• Provide technical support to clients during and after project handover
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Stay updated with current trends in automation and instrumentation and implement modern control architectures
• Prepare commissioning reports, test documents, and as-built documentation

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
• Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, PLC, DDC systems
• Good understanding of BACnet, Modbus, OPC communication protocols
• Experience in BMS graphics and HMI development
• Basic knowledge of SQL database programming
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited college or university
• 4-7 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
