Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Travel and Tourism Executive to promote and manage travel services and packages. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, coordinating travel arrangements, and supporting the overall growth of the business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of tourism trends and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell travel products and tour packages to clients (individuals, groups, or corporate customers).
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable travel solutions and destination advice.
- Coordinate all aspects of travel bookings including flights, accommodations, transportation, and excursions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide high-quality after-sales support.
- Handle bookings, cancellations, itinerary changes, and travel issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on tourism trends, destination information, travel advisories, and visa policies.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Assist in marketing campaigns and promotional activities to attract new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in the travel or tourism industry, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
- In-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations and services.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in reservation and booking systems (e.g., GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Fluency in more than one language.
- Strong digital marketing or social media knowledge for promoting travel services.
- Experience in managing luxury, corporate, or adventure travel.
