Training & Placement In-Charge (HMCT)

Lexicon MILE – Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) is seeking a dynamic and industry-connected Training & Placement In-Charge to lead student internships, placements, and industry engagement initiatives. The role is responsible for building strategic partnerships with leading hospitality brands, ensuring students receive quality industrial exposure, and achieving excellent placement outcomes in line with Lexicon HMCT's philosophy of creating Day Zero Professionals through experiential learning and industry integration. The institute emphasizes strong industry exposure, internships, and placement support through its dedicated placement cell and hospitality partnerships.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, restaurants, catering companies, event management firms, and hospitality recruiters.
• Build strategic partnerships with national and international hospitality brands for internships and campus recruitment.
• Organize industry visits, guest lectures, corporate interactions, networking events, and recruitment drives.
• Identify emerging hospitality sectors and create placement opportunities for students.

• Coordinate industrial internships, vocational training, and experiential learning programs.
• Ensure smooth execution of domestic and international internship opportunities.
• Monitor student performance during internships through regular employer feedback.
• Maintain internship records, evaluations, and completion reports.

• Plan and execute campus placement drives throughout the academic year.
• Coordinate interviews, assessment centers, group discussions, and recruitment events.
• Guide students in career planning and hospitality career pathways.
• Achieve annual placement targets while maintaining quality employment opportunities.
• Maintain placement statistics, recruiter database, and alumni placement records.

• Prepare monthly and annual placement reports.
• Maintain MIS for internships and placements.
• Track placement KPIs and employer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements.
