Role Overview:

The Territory Manager will be responsible for building and managing the agency distribution network in the assigned territory. The role requires strong insurance domain knowledge and the ability to recruit agents, drive agency channel business, and manage team productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop insurance agents/advisors to expand the agency network.
• Build and manage a strong agency distribution channel in the assigned territory.
• Drive business growth through agent activation and productivity management.
• Provide training, mentoring, and field support to agents.
• Ensure achievement of business targets through effective team management.
• Strengthen market presence by developing local relationships and partnerships.
• Support agents with product knowledge and sales strategies across multiple insurance segments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and General Insurance products.
• Experience in agency channel sales and agent recruitment.
• Able to handle a team size of 8 FLS.
• Proven team handling and leadership experience.
• Ability to bring or build a strong agent network in the assigned territory.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
