Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves providing one-on-one and group counseling to students on academic, personal, and career-related matters, guiding them through education choices, course selection, and skill-development opportunities. The Student Counselor will conduct career counseling sessions, aptitude discussions, and information seminars, while maintaining detailed records of student interactions and progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to student and parent inquiries, offering accurate information about programs and pathways, coordinating with educators and administrators, and ensuring a supportive, inclusive environment. The role also requires participation in outreach events, workshops, and orientation programs to promote EduSphere’s offerings and enhance student engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong Student Counseling and Education skills to support learners in academic, personal, and educational decision-making.
• Experience in Career Counseling, including guiding students on future education, career paths, and industry readiness.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; counseling certifications are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations in a non-judgmental, inclusive, and confidential manner.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple student cases and activities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with modern education trends, skill-development programs, and digital learning platforms is beneficial.
• Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or educational institutions in Hyderabad or similar contexts is a plus.
