Role Description The Student Counselor will work full time on-site at the Kozhikode office, guiding prospective students through the entire study abroad process. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, understanding student profiles and aspirations, and recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs. The role involves assisting with application procedures, documentation, and basic visa-related guidance, while maintaining accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups. The Student Counselor will respond to inquiries, provide timely updates, coordinate with internal teams, and participate in seminars, workshops, and outreach activities to promote Gradiks Global’s services. Consistent, professional communication and a strong focus on student experience and ethical guidance are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on suitable courses, destinations, and career pathways.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems and study abroad processes, including admissions and basic visa requirements.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field; prior experience in overseas education or academic counseling is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, with proficiency in English; knowledge of regional languages is beneficial.
• Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
• Demonstrated integrity, empathy, and a student-focused mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
