Job Profile Summary
The Sr Workday HCM Talent Analyst is responsible for the configuration, enhancement, and day-to-day support of the company's Workday HCM Talent domain, including Recruiting, Candidate Management, Onboarding, Performance, Goals, Career, Talent Reviews, Succession, and related reporting and security. This role partners closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-friendly solutions that support the organization's talent strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong Workday functional expertise with a solid understanding of talent processes, system optimization, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the functional analyst for Workday HCM Talent, supporting key areas including Recruiting, Candidate Management, Onboarding, Performance, Goals, Career, Talent Reviews, and Succession.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday business processes, security, notifications, validations, and related configuration to support talent operations and policy requirements.
• Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations and process improvements.
• Support end-to-end talent processes, including recruiting lifecycle activities, onboarding workflows, performance cycles, talent assessments, and succession planning.
• Maintain and optimize organizational structures, role assignments, eligibility rules, and talent-related setup to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
• Support release management activities, including impact assessments, regression testing, feature adoption, and readiness for Workday updates.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution and communication for Workday Talent-related issues.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational reporting, compliance, and talent insights.
• Partner with integration and technical teams on interfaces and data flows related to recruiting, onboarding, learning, background checks, and other talent ecosystem tools.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across talent processes through strong governance, testing, and documentation practices.
• Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to improve adoption and user experience.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Workday HCM Talent landscape.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in the Workday ecosystem, including 4+ years of hands-on Workday HCM Talent experience across implementation, enhancement, and support.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in one or more Workday Talent areas, such as Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Goals, Career, Talent Reviews, or Succession.
• Experience supporting Workday business processes, security roles, condition rules, validations, and tenant configuration within HCM/Talent.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable system solutions.
• Experience developing reports, calculated fields, and supporting data analysis for HR and Talent stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with HR, IT, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday Pro certification in Recruiting, Talent and Performance, or other relevant Workday HCM certifications.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting and Onboarding in high-volume or global environments.
• Familiarity with EIBs, integrations, and basic troubleshooting of inbound and outbound interfaces.
• Experience supporting global organizations, multi-country processes, and regional compliance considerations.
• Experience with Workday Learning, Journeys, or related HCM modules is a plus.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry is an advantage.
Education, Location and others
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
