Mastek is delivering a high‑profile, next‑generation biometric programme for a major UK central government department. This is a rare opportunity to work on a large‑scale, cutting‑edge public sector initiative that integrates with legacy and cross‑government systems.

We are looking for a Seasoned Senior Automation Tester who is passionate about quality engineering, automation excellence and agile delivery.

🔍 What We Are Looking For

We need someone who can:

✔ Build & maintain scalable automation frameworks

✔ Drive automation maturity (target >90% automation)

✔ Work hands‑on across UI/API automation, CI/CD & SQL

✔ Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment

✔ Analyse requirements, design test scenarios & ensure high‑quality delivery

✔ Thrive in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative public sector programme

🛠️ Core Skills & Experience

Must‑Have Skills:

• 7+ years Automation Testing

• UI & API Automation (RestAssured)

• Selenium + Java (BDD Cucumber, Serenity)

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Concourse)

• SQL database testing

• Jira – defect logging, tracking, reporting

• Framework setup (test data creation, regression packs across envs)

• Functional + Agile testing

• Strong documentation, analysis & problem‑solving skills

Desirable Skills:

• React.js exposure

• Robot Framework, Python

• JMeter (performance testing)

• Accessibility testing knowledge
