Site Civil Engineer Infra works QC

Motivated, Tamil speaking, self driven site engineers, (B.E. civil) (6-10 yrs) with proven experience in handling campus scale infra related works required. Minimum commitment of 3 yrs (extendable), ability to join immediately. Strong leadership skills to manage entire project as an representative from the architect.

As a civil engineer responsible for management and QC of infra related works, you will assist and provide clarity on infra works, civil engineering and site level services. You will provide expert advice on on-site clarifications with the support of the team.

Assisting other team members in accordance with the BOQs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports of progress.

Practical approach, with strong analytical and logical thinking skills, a honest work ethic and handle work pressure is desirable.

Candidate should be willing to travel and work between Alwarpet and on our site at Tambaram. Be flexible to travel to other sites in Chennai or intermittently to other cities / towns if the need arises. Ability to lead, and work with contractors and vendors at different scales, from start to finish. Job also involves project coordination using management tools to achieve good construction quality from contractors on behalf of the client. 

Ability to understand and relate to work on estimates, tender documents and assist the clients is desired. Good documentation sense with a flair for maintaining site records meticulously is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related developments. 
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
• Cross - checking and authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans for execution.
• Follow work schedules and communicating any adjustments to team members and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings where required.
• Completing quality checks and providing feedback to the team.

Civil Project Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, infra related works or similar.
• Experience in a similar role for at least 5 years.
• Sound knowledge of Engineering and construction.
• Practical leadership and project management skills.
• Apply logical and critical thinking to projects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A willingness to learn.
