About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead Insurance Technology projects and drive successful delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong insurance domain expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience managing project financials, delivery timelines, and team performance.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage project execution, collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, and ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining project profitability and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and clients to define project goals and success criteria.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum execution through sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage project financials including project costs, gross margins, P&L, and profitability.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and governance updates.
  • Lead and mentor teams of 10+ technology professionals.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
  • Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within the insurance domain.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in the Insurance domain.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, customer journeys, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing project budgets, profitability, resource planning, and delivery governance.
  • Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Fixed-Bid project delivery models.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience in Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, or Insurance Digital Platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, automation, cloud technologies, and emerging trends in the insurance sector.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


Preferred Certifications


  • PMP
  • PRINCE2
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
