Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong data engineering background to lead complex, cross-functional data initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end program delivery, collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of scalable data platform and analytics projects.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics programs.
Drive programme planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Coordinate with Data Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and Business teams.
Manage project timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure successful delivery of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data solutions.
Monitor programme KPIs, milestones, and overall delivery health.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove delivery roadblocks.
Identify and mitigate programme risks while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Present programme status and executive updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

8-12 years of IT experience with 3+ years as a technical programme manager or technical project manager.
Strong background in data engineering and large-scale data platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on understanding of SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Experience with technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, and modern data warehouses.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering enterprise-scale data modernisation or digital transformation programmes.
Exposure to data governance, data quality, and data security initiatives.
PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification is a plus.
Experience working in BFSI, healthcare, retail, or technology domains is preferred.
