Senior Executive – Export Documentation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Export Documentation to oversee and manage all aspects of export documentation and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, customs regulations, and documentation handling for air, sea, and land freight. This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Placing booking with shipping line/co-loader 
• Releasing bkg. to shipper or giving carting in case of LCL 
• Arranging Pickup in case of transportation in our scope 
• Arranging clearance in case of clearance in our scope 
• Filing SI 
• VGM filing 
• shipping bill submission on Odex 
• applying for Form-13 
• giving all cut-off’s to customer 
• Giving draft 
• Filing AMS/ISF 
• Releasing hbl/mbl 
• Sending pre-alerts 
• Follow-up with destination in case of DAP/DDP 
• Tracking of all shipments 
• Job creation in system 
• Invoicing to shipper 
• Bkg. cost 
• Knowledge of incoterms 
• Knowledge of country specific requirement  

Key Requirements:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in International Trade, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Export Documentation within a Freight Forwarding or CHA organization
• Strong knowledge of export documentation processes for FCL, LCL, and Air shipments
• Familiarity with Indian Customs, DGFT, ICEGATE, and EDI systems
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/TMS systems (e.g., Logisys, CargoWise, Freight Look etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge about shipping line’s to reach them correctly to resolve the any operational or documentation related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling cross-trade shipments and DDU/DDP documentation
• Exposure to different trade lanes (e.g., USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa)
• Graduate in any discipline. MBA preferred. 
• Commercial education or special education in freight forwarding  

Compensation:
