People & Communications Generalists support in delivering the people and communications agenda within their responsibility area. They take part in the actions to attract, engage, and develop employees and develop KONE as a great place to work together with other teams.
Unit HR Generalists focus to local people and communications operations. These operations typically require local language, understanding of legal requirements and practices, and close physical proximity to handle the work. People & Communications Generalist support whole team in locally required topics, under the guidance of their line manager. They can be responsible for defined projects at a local level as well to improve operations.

They can be responsible for defined projects at a local level as well to improve operations.
Why this role:
- Contributing to the delivery of a People and Communications Plan – Responsible for smaller local projects that contribute to the delivery of a People and Communications Plan. Localization of needed items and projects.
- Local People and Communications Operations – Responsible for local operations. Such activities can include e.g., time and attendance and payroll related preparations or collecting information, preparation and coordination of locally required documents.
- Annual processes – Supporting in preparing and delivering annual processes according to local guidance from respective owners
- Master degree in HR field or equivalent
- 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in multinational company
- HR background either from Unit HR or HR Center of Expertise or HR Services roles in manufacturing or similar Industry
- Knowledge of related People process
- Project management skills
- Awareness of capabilities needed to work in multinational team in a global matrix organization
