Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in solution design, enterprise architecture, and technology consulting across complex, multi-system environments.
The role involves leading client-facing consulting engagements, driving solution definition and architecture strategy, and ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions.
While deep experience in the Education Technology (EdTech) domain is highly desirable, we are open to candidates who have led enterprise solutions in adjacent domains such as FinTech, HealthTech, or Digital Transformation, and have a strong grasp of platform thinking, data-driven design, and scalable cloud architectures.
This position is being hired for an hourly contractual engagement related to a high-stakes client proposal and may extend into a delivery engagement depending on outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Client Consulting & Solutioning
- Lead consulting engagements and discovery workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
- Define solution vision, technical roadmap, and architectural blueprint for enterprise platforms or large-scale products.
- Translate business goals into technical strategies, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and compliance.

- Ensure alignment with enterprise principles such as resilience, observability, maintainability, and cloud-agnostic design.
- Evaluate third-party tools, APIs, and frameworks; recommend optimal build-vs-buy decisions.
Communication & Leadership
- Act as the bridge between business and engineering, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
- Present solution options, trade-offs, and risks to both executive and technical audiences.
- Mentor teams or partner with delivery managers during the solution definition and handover phase.
Domain Expertise (Preferred):
While open to multiple industries, strong familiarity with EdTech platforms and ecosystems is a major advantage.
- Deep understanding of education models – K-12, Higher Education, and Corporate Learning (L&D).
- Hands-on exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as D2L, Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, OpenEdx, or Schoology.

- GDPR, FERPA, COPPA, SOC2, ISO 27001
Candidates from other industries (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, or Enterprise SaaS) who have delivered platform-based, data-driven, or AI-augmented solutions are encouraged to apply.
Technical Expertise:
- Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue
- Backend: Node.js, Java, or .NET

- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- DevOps & CI/CD: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform
- Security & IAM: OAuth2, SAML, Zero Trust, Role-based Access, Encryption & Compliance Design
AI / Generative AI Expertise (Preferred):
- Working knowledge of LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, Gemini, LLaMA).
- Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector search, and embedding architectures.
- Ability to conceptualize or guide the development of AI-powered learning, analytics, or automation features.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI practices, including explainability and bias mitigation.
Consulting & Leadership Skills:
- Proven track record of leading client conversations, scoping requirements, and shaping technology solutions.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage consulting engagements with limited supervision.
- Experience working in proposal-driven, outcome-oriented environments.
- Comfortable working with CXOs, product owners, and engineering leads to align technology decisions with business value.
