Job Overview

• Ensure monthly closing of books accurately and on time
• Prepare GL reconciliation in time
• Maintain Fixed Assets in SAP correctly and on time
• Ensure timely Inter Company reconciliations
• Support information for monthly submissions of cashflow
• Ensure filing of statutory (Audit / other compliance) returns in time
• Support completion of Statutory, Internal, ad hoc audits in time
• Prepare and submit month end reporting for relevant company codes within APAC (wherever required)
• To co-ordinate and facilitate annual financial statement audits with external and internal audit firms
• Perform internal SOX self-testing when required
• Implementation of Global standardization, simplification, automation initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support completion of statutory audits, internal audits, and SOX testing within required timelines.
• Assist tax teams with accounting records and transactions for compliance and lodgments.
• Prepare and certify monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations via Blackline with proper supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather timely information for reconciliations and reporting.
• Contribute to month-end reporting preparation and reviews for corporate/APAC accounting.
• Calculate and book journal entries for month-end closing, ensuring books are closed accurately by WD4.
• Ensure intercompany balances and bank reconciliations are completed on time.
• Maintain Fixed Assets in SAP, ensuring compliance with US Group Policy and reconciliation between IGAAP and UGAAP.
• Oversee physical verification of Fixed Assets in line with company policy.
• Uphold strong internal controls through SOX self-testing and support team development.
• Drive process improvements by implementing new group templates and global initiatives in standardization, simplification, and automation.
  
  

Minimum

What You’ll Need

• Qualified or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant
• 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with SAP specifically in GL & FA Modules, Advance skills in MS office- Excel and Power Point
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end closing process and financial reporting
• Specific work experience in handling audit of financial statements with strong technical accounting knowledge with GAAP/IFRS
• Strong focus on Internal Controls and Compliance
• High level of resilience and ability to work under pressure
