Job Description

Job Title: Accountant
Experience: 5+years
Location: Jaipur
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Accountant with a background in financial institutions. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in internal audits, compliance audits, operational risk assessments, and the development of risk registers, risk control matrices (RCM), and Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and policy adherence.
Manage GST compliance including returns filing, reconciliation, and addressing notices/queries.
Handle direct and indirect taxation (Income Tax, TDS, GST, Professional Tax, etc.).
Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements as per statutory norms.
Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, vendor/customer balances, and tax-related transactions.
Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required.
Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and MIS reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in internal audit, compliance audit, or operational risk management within financial institutions.
Experience in drafting and maintaining policies and SOPs.
Previous experience in fintech, payments companies, or cryptocurrency exchanges is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST laws, Income Tax Act, and Companies Act.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management strategies, and internal control evaluations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
