Project Manager (Civil)

• Project Planning & Scope Definition:
• Strategic Planning of project with Timelines , Resources , Manpower .
• Proper delegation of work with all Team Members.
• Conducting periodical meetings
• Able to attend and communicate effectively with structural consultants , Architects and Clients .
• MS project , Management software is mandatory.

• Budget & Financial Management:
• prepare cost estimates, manage project funds, and monitor expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
• Resource & Team Coordination:
• manage multidisciplinary teams including site engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring everyone is aligned with the project goals.

• Risk & Safety Management:
• Identifying potential hazards or delays (like material shortages or unforeseen site conditions) and developing contingency plans is a critical duty.

*

• Quality & Compliance Oversight:
• They ensure all construction work meets building codes, legal regulations, and environmental standards and PPEs for all the workmen.

• Stakeholder Communication: Primary point of contact for clients , CEO and government agencies, translating technical progress into actionable reports.

Essential Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles is required to make informed decisions on-site.

• Leadership & Delegation: The ability to motivate diverse teams and hold individuals accountable for specific tasks is vital for project success.

• Negotiation: PMs frequently negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best rates and timelines.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is standard.

Career Path & Qualifications

• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications like the PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute or PRINCE2 can significantly enhance career prospects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
