Role Description The Senior Business Development Executive is a full-time on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the education and career enablement space. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and generating leads, engaging with potential institutional and corporate partners, and nurturing relationships to convert opportunities into long-term collaborations. The role involves conducting market research, presenting Unishala’s programs and services, negotiating agreements, and ensuring smooth onboarding of partners. The Senior Business Development Executive will work closely with internal teams, including marketing and academic advisory, to align offerings with client needs and achieve sales and revenue targets. Regular reporting, pipeline management, and participation in events or meetings to promote Unishala’s brand and programs are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with a track record of identifying and converting growth opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of business development principles and market dynamics, preferably in education, edtech, or professional training sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Experience in account management, relationship-building, and maintaining long-term partnerships with institutions or corporate clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage a sales pipeline using CRM or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in using data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and travel locally or regionally for meetings, events, and partner engagements as needed.
