Job Title: Senior Sales Manager


The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our presence across Government Departments, Institutional Buyers, Corporate Accounts, Cooperatives, FPOs, Distributors, and Large Enterprise Customers while building long-term business partnerships and delivering exceptional sales performance.

This is a leadership role requiring strong business development capabilities, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of managing high-value institutional sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive Institutional & Bulk Sales across assigned territories.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities through Government Organizations, Corporate Accounts, Cooperatives, FPOs, Industries, and other Institutional Buyers.
  • Build, nurture, and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
  • Lead high-value commercial negotiations and successfully close institutional business opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage Government & Private Tenders from documentation to successful execution.
  • Prepare annual sales plans, revenue forecasts, sales reports, and MIS for management review.
  • Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless order execution.
  • Monitor collections, outstanding receivables, and customer satisfaction to ensure long-term business continuity.
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Institutional Sales team while driving a high-performance sales culture.


Candidate Profile

  • 12+ years of proven experience in Institutional Sales, Bulk Sales, B2B Sales, or Corporate Sales.
  • Strong industry exposure in Agrochemicals, Fertilizers, Seeds, Crop Protection, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Industrial Products.
  • Demonstrated success in handling large institutional accounts, government business, and high-value sales.
  • Proven experience in Government Tender Management and Institutional Business Development.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver consistent business growth.
  • Willingness to travel extensively based on business requirements.
