Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting the company’s pump, engine, and generator product lines. Daily tasks include conducting market research, preparing sales proposals, handling inquiries, and supporting customers with product information and after-sales service. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns, participate in product demonstrations and training sessions, and maintain accurate sales records and reports. The role also includes contributing to sales targets, attending local and regional customer visits, and supporting continuous improvement of sales and marketing processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams.
  • Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Sales skills with the ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Management and Training skills to support sales planning, guide team members, and conduct product or process training when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical pumps, diesel engines, or industrial equipment, or willingness to quickly learn technical product details.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, travel locally for client meetings, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using common productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or sales tracking software).
  • Relevant education in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in industrial sales.
