RPA QA Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced RPA QA Specialist to support a large-scale Robotics Process Automation (RPA) program. The role will focus on ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and compliance of RPA solutions developed using Automation Anywhere and Power Automate.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in RPA testing, QA governance, defect management, workflow validation, and automation quality assurance across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities QA Strategy & Governance

• Define and maintain QA standards, frameworks, and best practices for RPA solutions.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for automation processes.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and architecture standards.
  
  

Testing & Validation

• Perform unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
• Validate workflow logic, exception handling, and error management.
• Verify data accuracy, reconciliation logic, and audit trail requirements.
• Ensure RPA solutions meet scalability, reliability, and performance expectations.
  
  

Defect Management

• Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects across development cycles.
• Coordinate with developers for issue resolution and retesting.
• Validate fixes and provide QA sign-off for releases.
• Support production deployment and go-live readiness activities.
  
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare QA artifacts including:
• Test plans
• Test cases
• Defect logs
• Test execution reports
• Contribute to technical documentation and support transition materials.
• Provide regular QA status updates to stakeholders and project managers.
  

Go-Live & Support Transition

• Validate production deployment readiness.
• Ensure AST (Application Support Transition) documentation is completed.
• Support knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Automation Anywhere
• Microsoft Power Automate
• Strong understanding of:
• RPA workflows
• Exception handling
• Error management
• Automation governance
• Experience designing and executing QA strategies for RPA projects.
• Expertise in:
• Test planning
• Test case development
• Defect management
• Integration testing
• UAT coordination
• Knowledge of cloud-based RPA deployments and infrastructure.
• Understanding of programming concepts and automation logic.
• Familiarity with finance/accounting systems and integrations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Software QA, Testing, or RPA QA roles.
