MEIDEFSEC is an India focused strategic Defence and Advanced systems collaboration company working across RF systems, Embedded systems, Aerospace Technologies, Rugged electronics, Manufacturing coordination, and advanced engineering partnerships. We work closely with international technology and engineering partners from Israeli companies, to support Indian defence, aerospace, UAV, robotics, maritime, and electronics ecosystems through:

  • Advanced engineering support,
  • Manufacturing coordination,
  • Localization pathways,
  • Subsystem development,
  • And long-term strategic industrial collaboration.

Our long-term vision is to build a highly capable India based defence industrial coordination and advanced systems partnership platform connecting engineering innovation, manufacturing execution, and operational requirements across India and international markets.


Role Overview

We are looking for a technically curious, disciplined, and highly motivated individual to join us as a Technical Business Development & Program Coordination Associate. This is NOT a generic sales role.

The role sits at the intersection of:

  • Engineering,
  • Defence technology,
  • Customer coordination,
  • Manufacturing,
  • RF/electronics understanding,
  • and strategic program execution.

You will work directly with company leadership and international engineering partners on real-world defence and aerospace opportunities.


Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Customer Coordination
  • Understand and explain MEIDEFSEC partner capabilities
  • Support customer discussions related to RF systems, embedded systems, UAV technologies, rugged electronics, and subsystem manufacturing
  • Coordinate technical requirements and RFQs with manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Participate in technical and business meetings with Indian and international partners
  • Prepare meeting summaries, technical notes, and opportunity reports
Business Development Support
  • Identify and research Defence, Aerospace, UAV, and Electronics companies
  • Support outreach and relationship-building efforts
  • Track leads, opportunities, and project timelines
  • Maintain structured follow-up with customers and partners
Program Coordination
  • Coordinate communication between international partners and Indian manufacturing/customer teams
  • Track project actions, timelines, deliverables, and escalations
  • Support manufacturing coordination and localization discussions.

We are NOT looking for a traditional salesperson. We are looking for someone who has strong curiosity for Defence and Aerospace systems and is willing to continuously learn technical concepts. Can communicate clearly and professionally, Is disciplined and organized and can handle responsibility and follow-through and can operate calmly in technical discussions and is serious about building a long-term career in advanced systems and defence-industrial ecosystems


The Mission for this year!

One Technical Business Development person. Eight Months to end this Financial Year. One goal: Fill the pipeline and win the business that takes MEI Defence and Security toward Rs 1crore. You will hunt, win, onboard and keep your own customers. Treat a target the way an athlete treats a record: something to break, not admire.

Experience
  • Freshers with strong technical curiosity may apply
  • 1–3 years experience preferred

Qualification

  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for preparing clear documentation, presentations, and professional interactions with internal teams, OEMs, and customers.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify potential customers, map relevant programs, and gather structured intelligence on the defence and aerospace ecosystem.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities to support enquiries, follow up professionally, and maintain constructive relationships with partners and clients.
  • Interest or basic familiarity with RF/electronic systems, defence or aerospace domains, or cybersecurity/enterprise technology will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work systematically, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records using productivity and CRM tools is preferred.
  • Comfort with MS Office or equivalent productivity suites and willingness to learn new tools and processes is expected.
